Regional Green Economy Strategy and Action Plan Validation Workshop

The SADC Secretariat convened a regional brainstorming workshop that was held from 10th to 12th December 2013, in Gaborone, Botswana. It brought together all SADC Member States, NGOs and Private Sector dealing with issues of Sustainable Development and the Green Economy. During the brainstorming workshop, stakeholders agreed on elements and priorities for the Regional Green Economy Strategy and Action Plan. The draft Strategy has been finalised. To facilitate finalisation of the Strategy, the SADC Secretariat is organising a stakeholders validation workshop whose objective is to enable stakeholders validate and endorse the Draft Regional Strategy from 4th to 5th November 2014 in Harare, Zimbabwe.
